The ethos behind USUK is about building a bridge over the Atlantic. Although the US and UK mostly speak the same language, after years of working together, co-founders Alex Whiteley and Tom Bruno found that so much gets lost in translation. This void is where USUK makes it home!

This inspiration stemmed from a conversation involving apple cider. Tom was flummoxed when Alex mentioned getting drunk off Apple Cider. You see, in the US Apple Cider is not alcoholic. In the UK however, Apple Cider is alcoholic, and a non alcoholic Apple Cider is called Apple Juice. What Alex learned was in the US if someone offered his kid an apple cider, they weren’t trying to get his kid drunk.
This difference, and so many more, are what makes the USUK Podcast so unique.

Join USUK as we put together a collection of shows that are designed to entertain and explore culture. Our goal is simple; using laughter and a passion for knowledge we hope to bring our audience on a journey across the atlantic and back again.

So let’s introduce you to the team shall we….
